• The “Hidden” button operates in the same manner as the HideDItem() and ShowDItem() calls documented in IM IV.
• The “Hex” button may be used to edit/view the control’s reference constant in hexadecimal. This is useful if you use encoded values in the refCon field to indicate something about a control’s function, etc.
• The control type buttons only permit you to specify PICT Control types. If a CNTL created for some other control type is edited, none of the buttons will appear hilited. Provided, however, that you do not choose one of the PICT Control types, the original control type will be retained, thereby permitting the CNTL Editor to be of some use with any CNTL resource.
